Jade LuI interacted with members of the Lutzoni lab when I was a senior at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, as part of a workshop on lichen symbiosis. As soon as I started my undergraduate education at Duke University (August 2013) I joined the Lutzoni lab. Under the guidance of Nicolas Magain, Jolanta Miadlikowska and François Lutzoni I developed my own research project on the spatial scale of mycobiont-photobiont associations. This project is taking advantage of a >1200 km long transect crossing the Canadian boreal biome. |
