Komal KingerOriginally from Johns Creek, Georgia I am currently a freshmen at Duke University working as a research assistant under Kathryn Picard in the Lutzoni lab. As an avid lover of fungi, I am trying to understand fungi metagenomics in marine environments and learn microbiological techniques. Since I’m planning to pursue a research career, I’m truly enjoying the wonderful atmosphere and environment in the Lutzoni lab. In the past I have worked as a lab assistant at Emory University by researching the methods Agrobacterium utilize to parasitize their host the Striga plant. |
