Dongling NiuDongling visited the Lutzoni lab for a period of one year starting August 12, 2013. The goal of her visit was to learn PCR-based methods to sequence DNA of lichens and to be introduced to basic analytical methods in systematic biology. She contributed to an ongoing long-term project in the Lutzoni lab focusing on the genus Peltigera. Dongling also used extensively the William Louis & Chicita F. Culberson Lichen Herbarium and Library part of the Duke Herbarium (DUKE).
