Rudi et al. (1998) published the following primers for amplification of the rbcLX region in Cyanobacteria:
CW: 5′-CGTAGCTTCCGGTGGTATCCACGT-3′
CX: 5′-GGGGCAGGTAAGAAAGGGTTTCGTA-3′
The same authors provide an additional primer designated for sequencing of Nostoc spp.:
DN: 5′-TTGAAGCAATGGATACCGTCTGA-3′
