Anita SimhaI am currently a junior in high school at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. In the past, I have researched the effects of citric acid on plant germination and respiration rate, measured by oxygen consumption. My current chemistry teacher Dr. Halpin introduced me to the endophyte study, and I attended two workshops earlier this school year. I have always loved biology, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help research a biologically relevant topic in the Lutzoni lab. |
